The Spiritual Power, Empowermnent of Silence
Often, there are so many, many thoughts that go through our heads. The mind is so restless. The mind is so filled with concerns, issues economic, relationships, practical, and emotional. It's seldom that we find ourselves in silence. The distractions of life are numerous. The environment holds a great deal of noise as well. If we could only experience true silence. What may occur?
When we dare to focus our minds and experience true silence emotional fear may arise. It's often the reason we occupy ourselves with distractions. Just think if we could let go of our "fear", our concerns, and our thoughts. We just might connect with true silence.
We are fortunate in San Diego County because of the ocean, the mountains, and the desert. The beauty of the environment surrounds us. The beauty is overpowering and it gives us the opportunity to walk in and through these environments and experience their beauty. It also gives us the opportunity to experience the solitude and the spiritual beauty, power, and empowerment of silence.
If and when fears do bubble up; when we can succeed at the release of our fears; when we can let go enough of our fears; what remains just might be the profound sense of our connection with true silence. I've experienced true silence and can honestly tell you that it's an opportunity to connect and make a loving connection with spirit.
The use of silence in relationships can be extremely powerful. Often, we attempt to fix others issues. Fixing issues of others is co-dependency. When we keep silent and permit and allow others to find the answers; it can be for the best. It's important to know when to keep silent and when to counsel and advise others. It's important to know when to set boundaries with and without the use of silence. We can learn to set boundaries by way of relationship experiences.
